Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Performance Fee calculated?

When our bots make successful trades and your wallet balance is on profit, we charge a fee based on the profits you've earned. This fee is called a Performance Fee, and it's calculated using a pricing model called "based on a high watermark". The model is designed to prevent you from paying fees when investments are underperforming.

What is HighWaterMark and how it works?

High WaterMark is a pricing model we use for calculating the Performance Fee. The model ensures you only pay performance fees when your strategy makes a profit above its previous highest value, and it prevents you from paying fees when investments are underperforming.

When you join and activate a strategy, the starting value of your portfolio sets your High WaterMark (HWM). If the strategy earns profits and its value goes above the HWM, a Performance Fee is charged on the profit, and a new HWM is set. If the value drops below the HWM, no performance fee is charged until it surpasses the previous high again. This ensures you don’t pay fees on the same profits or during losses.

What are Hodl and Fiat Strategies?

A Hodl strategy buys the asset and keeps it (Buy and Hold) like you would normally buy it on an exchange. No trading is done.

A Fiat strategy puts the money in a US Dollar or Euro stablecoin. A stablecoin always has a 1:1 price with the underlying currently, like the US Dollar
