The U.S. dollar is flashing rare weakness signals:

• The Dollar Index (DXY) is trading 6.5 points below its 200-day average — its softest level in 21 years.
  Year-to-date, the dollar has fallen over 10%, the worst start since 1973.
• Speculation is building over a potential super-sized Fed rate cut, even without a recession.

If cuts happen, we could see:

• Inflation climbing back above 5%

• Short-term rallies in stocks, oil, and gold,

• Longer-term risks of overheating the economy.

On top of that, trade tensions are rising as former President Trump pushes for new tariffs on Chinese goods, adding global uncertainty.

Despite the quiet price action, smart money is accumulating crypto: Bitcoin volatility is near multi-month lows — often the calm before a sharp move.
